Random PWM based Open end Winding Induction Motor Drive

Abstract


This paper proposes a simplified space vector based Random Pulse Width Modulation scheme for open end winding induction motor drive. In this paper randomization is achieved by placing effective vector randomly in the switching time period.The offset time is obtained from the instantaneous reference phase voltages. The proposed scheme uses no sector identification. No external circuitry is required for generating switching vectors.The proprsed scheme is not having any compelex calculations like angle calculations.
