Abstract

In this paper algorithm for fuzzy TOPSIS method is proposed for multi criteria decision making problem (MCDM). Due to uncertainty and imprecise data fuzzy set theory has been used to establish fuzzy TOPSIS method. Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) is the best method to find out the ideal solution of the problem. The trapezoidal fuzzy number is used in a linguistic environment and fuzzy positive ideal solution (FPIS) and fuzzy negative ideal solution (FNIS) is obtained. The health hazards of traffic police is analysed by this algorithm and the conclusion is given based on our study.
