Abstract

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing is the high speed communication system in wireless communication. The new scheme proposed is to improve image transmission by using orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system over AWGN channel. One of the major issues of OFDM systems is that the composite transmit signal can exhibit a very high PAPR. The performance of the PAPR is improved by the reduction techniques of Selective Mapping and Partial Transmit Sequence. Simulation is performed using MATLAB.
