Abstract

Society is be coming increasingly dependent on embedded computing and senso r technology to enable complex networks of auto nomous systems, such as robot s, unmanned aerial ve hicles(UAVs), self-driving cars, and unmanned underwat er vehicles (UUVs). Infact , seve ral recent de vel opmen ts highlight the re ali zat ion of advanced auto nomous systems that were de emed science fict ion just a few de cades ago. Smart Just Drive for Automotive using embedded blue to oth is designed to pr ovide co mforta ble fe el to the user or pass enger to check the ve hi cle sta tus by reading diff erent ve hicle parameter s like fuel le vels, engine temperature et c., and remot e by using Smart mobile with Bluet oot h Connect ivity . This is an inexpe nsive device which reduces the problem associated with anti-theft contr ol as well. This tracking system is mainly c omposed of PIC18F4480 Microcontr oller and a Bluetooth receiver. Automotive the ft has been a persisting problem around the world and gre at er challenge comes fr om pr ofessional thieves. In this paper, we present an automot ive security syste m to disable an automobile and its key auto systems thr ough remot e control when it is sto len. It hencedeters thi eves from co mmitt ing the thef.
