We’ve also explored how the actual need for quality was discovered and how it led to the formulation of various sector-specific standards. Further, in this chapter, we’ve discussed various ISO Standards and we’ve also mentioned the primary benefits of being ISO certified. This chapter also covers the pre-requisites for procuring a certification and the comparison of India with the rest of the world.
